What is a chronograph watch?

A chronograph watch unlike standard timepieces has specific dials which can measure second, minute and hour intervals - ideal for people who require accuracy, whether it be in use by a sportsman or for usage in a working enviroment.
On most chronographs the seperate dials can be operated independantly allowing you to measure specific time intervals - ie seconds, minute and seconds and hour, minute and seconds. Ideal for measuring events such as lap times and measuring time accurately for specific tasks.
We have a selection of chronograph watches displayed in our online store in different unique styles.
Chronograph however is not to be confused with a Chronometer watch. A Chronometer is specifically designed to be 'super accurate' and before it can be labelled as such it has to go through vigorous testing by the 'COSC' (Swiss Official Chronometer Control) to ensure that it does not lose anymore than 5 seconds per month under extreme temperatures and general usage.
